Christmas is just around the corner. This year give the gift of health to your loved ones. Plus, with Life Equals, it's 2 gifts for
the price of 1 — for every purchase, Life Equals donates an equal amount of children's multivitamins to a malnourished
child.
Also, as a reminder, today is the last day to order to receive it by the 23rd.
Happy Holidays!!

A couple weeks ago, a former college roommate called me up asking if I wanted to go to a concert with him. He was
coming in from out of town and already had the tickets. I knew some of the bands playing and, though I probably wouldn't
have gone to the show on my own, it seemed like a no-brainer to go so that we could get some time.
It was a wise choice.
Amazing music by all, but in my opinion Gungor, who wasn't the headliner, stole the show — they brought a scaled down
acoustic set which was amazing. Let's just say they pulled out a box accordion & beat-boxing cello player...
Their music is amazing, but especially the song featured today: Beautiful Things.
In so many ways the message resonates with me: the world is and can be a dark place full of systems that need to be
changed, but I believe beautiful things are coming, beautiful things are happening. Their lyrics capture it perfectly:
You make beautiful things out of the dust.
You make beautiful things out of us.
Happy Friday friends.
Oh, and if you're in Kansas City, we'll be at Bizperc tonight for First Fridays starting at 6p (Parking lot to the southwest of
18th & Baltimore in the Crossroads). Come hang out & jump into our Photobooth, which has been supercharged — now
every picture donates a day of health to an undernourished child. Pretty awesome if you ask us!

At Life Equals we're celebrating: we're just over 17,500 children's multivitamins donated through our Life=Life Project to
date. Amazing!! Thank you for creating a better world with us.
We've got our eyes set on 20,000 children's multivitamins by the end of October (just 10 days away), so we're giving a little
incentive: 15% off life-equals.com until November 1. Help us reach 20,000 children's multivitamins in October! Use the
discount code "20K" at checkout to get the 15% off!
All this celebration reminded me that some days you just need to stop for a moment and really celebrate life & all that's in
it — even the simple things that you sometimes overlook and dont think about celebrating:
family & friendships
love, adventures & the chance to hit the open road
pets
the opportunity to do good whether for a friend or stranger
a delicious cup of coffee or your favorite snack
All of us have something to celebrate and be thankful for whether big or small. To me, the Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta
Feeling, if nothing else, is a celebration song — it never fails to bring a huge smile to my face when it comes on the radio
or across my iPod.
Earlier this week I ran across Jeff Tweedy of Wilco doing an acoustic cover... wow. It had to be shared.
I hope today you're able to celebrate life a little more deeply; we certainly are!
cheers,
